Max is a DDR German Shepherd dog. He is a large beautiful black sable male and my foundation stud. He will work all day for you and yet when brought into the house, he settles like a “basset hound”. He weighs around 110+, but don’t let that fool ya… he thinks he is a “small” dog in a “big” dog body. Max would like nothing more than to lay in your lap or on the couch with you and watch tv.
He has a medium rank and drive, meaning he is not hyper or wild. He fits in all situations. He accepts dogs, kids, babies and adults. Max is as regal as they come…a true gentleman. Max’s PennHip rating was excellent and when compared to over 10,000+ German shepherds, his hips were tighter than 90% of the German shepherd population. Can’t ask for much better than that!
